IMPACT – Fortnightly Mondays 2:30-4pm (unless otherwise stated) term time only.

Impact is not for the faint hearted! We play crazy golf in the pouring rain and go 10 pin bowling in our nineties! Seriously though, Impact is a sociable group, the main ethos of which is caring and Christian fellowship. It provides the opportunity to get to know one another in an informal setting and drink a lot of tea!

Our programme is varied and we try to balance the spiritual with the fun! This year we have enjoyed talks on ‘The Archeology of Israel’ ,’Kenya -How Great Thou Art’ and ‘Potted Plants with Clotted Cream’. We have also shared some lovely musical and devotional afternoons.

All are welcome to join us.

7:30pm Fellowship Groups (1st Tuesday of the month)

Fellowship Groups meet on the first Tuesday of each month. Groups meet in homes around the Moordown area for a time of Bible study, discussion and prayer.

7:30pm Prayer Meeting & Bible Study (2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month)

These are held in the church lounge on the 2nd, 4th (and 5th) Tuesdays of each month.

7:30pm Missionary Prayer Meeting (3rd Tuesday of the month)

These are held in the church on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

12:00pm Luncheon Club (during term time)

Luncheon Club aims to reach out into the wider community in which we live. Our intention is to provide a welcoming atmosphere and friendship for senior citizens who live alone or feel the need for company.  We meet on Thursdays during school term-time at approximately 12:00 noon for 12:30pm, when lunch is served in the church hall. The meal, for which a small charge is made, is followed by a cup of tea and a short evangelistic talk.

We operate a minibus service within a given area to collect and return those who do not have their own transport.

2:30pm Ladies’ Fellowship (during term time)

The Ladies’ Fellowship is an integral part of church life and is designed to encourage ladies of all ages. We gather in the church lounge on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 to 3:30 during school term-time. A warm welcome and an informal atmosphere will quickly make you feel at home.

We have a different guest speaker each week, ensuring a refreshing approach to the Gospel presentation. Afterwards, there is always a friendly chat over a cup of tea and biscuits, providing time to get to know one another. During the year we have two or three outings to local beauty spots.

If you have time to spare or just need some company, please take the opportunity of accepting our warm invitation.
