Jimmy Hill was born in Bournemouth and grew up attending Moordown Baptist Church. As a child he heard the gospel preached faithfully every week and became a Christian at a young age.

In 2010, Jimmy was part of a small group of MBC members who were sent out to plant Hope Church, Ferndown. After a few happy years at Hope, he left to train for ministry at Oak Hill College.

Jimmy returned to Bournemouth in 2019 to serve the church at Moordown as pastor.

His greatest desire is to see people grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus; that the lost will be saved and the saved will be strengthened in their faith.

Jimmy is married to Josie and they have 3 young children. In his spare time Jimmy enjoys writing Six Minute Sermons and wrestling with his kids!
